Job Summary
Conduct inventory checks using hand-held computers to count and input Herr's branded products, then replenish stock and rotate items onto shelves and promotional displays. Perform snack resets inside retail and independent chain stores, assemble and customize merchandising racks, and execute company-sponsored promotional programs by acquiring temporary displays and shelving. Manage daily accuracy of product inventory and update Zone and Branch Managers with any concerns. Operate a personal vehicle with a clean driving record to service the Ocean County area, frequently walking, bending, and lifting up to 25 pounds regularly. Work 8-12 hours weekly on Saturdays and Sundays at a starting rate of $16.83/hour.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Clean driving record
- Courteous with customer service orientation and demonstrated listening skills
- Understands and embraces value of safety
- Ability to professionally and safely operate a personal vehicle
- Able to understand and speak English
- Must be able to lift 25 pounds regularly
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds occasionally
- Must be able to walk, bend, kneel, squat, balance, and reach
- Must be able to work in outside weather elements
- Must exercise honesty, integrity and respect with all clients and co-workers
- Must preserve confidentiality of all business information and data
- Must maintain a professional appearance and demeanor
