Job Summary
Assist individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities with personal hygiene, activities, outings, social engagement, shopping, planning, cooking, and cleaning. Cultivate independent living skills, facilitate community participation, and support the development of meaningful personal relationships. Administer and record medications per state and agency requirements when applicable. Complete required documentation including incident reports, progress notes, behavior data, and fire drills. Transport supported individuals as needed while performing some lifting and transferring. Work Saturdays and Sundays from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m. in a women-only environment.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 20 years of age
- Must have at least 2 years of Driving Experience
- Current driver's license (not provisional) with less than 3 points on driving record
- Must be able to transport people supported as needed
- Some lifting and transferring may be required
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or G.E.D preferred
