Job Summary
Assist individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities with personal hygiene, activities, outings, social engagement, shopping, planning, cooking, and cleaning. Cultivate independent living skills, facilitate community participation, and develop meaningful personal relationships. Administer and record medications per state and agency requirements, while completing documentation including incident reports, progress notes, and behavior data. Work weekends from 8am to 8pm, providing hands-on care to women. Transport supported individuals as needed, with some lifting and transferring required.
Required Qualifications
- Current driver's license (not provisional) with less than 3 points on driving record
- Must be at least 20 years of age
- Must have at least 2 years of driving experience
- Must be able to transport people supported as needed
- Some lifting and transferring may be required
- Saturday and Sunday 8am – 8pm
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma or G.E.D preferred
