Job Summary
Team Leader for Physical Therapy oversees daily therapy operations, including scheduling, orientation, training, and communication with the physical therapy staff and hospital departments; provides direct patient care and builds rewarding relationships by understanding patients' physical, mental, and emotional needs to aid in recovery; requires licensure or certification, CPR, and a Bachelor's or Master's degree in an accredited therapy program; minimum three years of experience in physical therapy or leadership with at least two years of clinical experience; may involve utilizing Therapy Clinical Ladder or specialty certifications. This role is embedded within the inpatient rehabilitation setting and emphasizes leadership, collaboration, and patient-centered care.
Required Qualifications
- Current licensure or certification required by state regulations
- CPR certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of hire within this role
- Bachelor's or Master’s degree from an accredited therapy program required
- Minimum of three years of experience in physical therapy or leadership, with a minimum of two years of clinical experience.
