Job Summary
Oversee daily store operations as Manager on Duty, ensuring crew members deliver the B.E.S.T. customer service experience and manage fast, friendly checkouts. Direct the receiving, unpacking, and organizing of new stock while performing store maintenance tasks like cleaning bathrooms and sweeping. Drive sales by optimizing merchandising and staff performance, actively seeking ways to boost revenue and control expenses. Manage the full opening and closing process, including securing cash, locking doors, and setting alarms. Support onboarding and ongoing training for associates on store policies, product knowledge, and operational procedures. Work a flexible schedule to meet business needs, which may include day, evening, weekends, and overnight shifts.
Required Qualifications
- High School Graduate or equivalent
- Minimum 1 years of management experience
- Ability to multi-task
- Ability to maintain composure under pressure
- Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business, which will require day, evening, weekends and may include overnight shifts and travel (as required)
- Must be at least 18 years old and able to perform all essential job functions in compliance with applicable federal, state, and local laws
- Must be able to identify and discern email and print instructions regarding merchandise layouts, associate schedules, and standard operating procedures
- Must be able to remain in a stationary, upright position for 80% of the time
- Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations
- Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business, which will require day, evening, weekends and may include overnight shifts and travel (as required)
