Job Summary
Senior part-time Student Ministry Director responsible for leading Roots Student Ministry (grades 5–12) through youth group meetings, one-on-one discipleship, and volunteer equipping. Leads curriculum development for weekly meetings, plans annual events (snow camp, summer camp), helps manage an annual budget, recruits and trains volunteers, maintains background checks and child-safety training, and fosters relational ministry with students, parents, and volunteers. Builds mentorship relationships, supports students in crisis from a Biblical perspective, ensures safety and compliance during events, and coordinates special programs and events across the campus. Located in Walworth, NY, reporting to the Campus Pastor; 15 hours per week with flexible scheduling contingent on responsibilities; contact Joe Glover (Walworth Campus Pastor).
Required Qualifications
- Passion for working with students and their spiritual maturity
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with students, parents, and volunteers
- Effective leadership and team-building skills, with experience in volunteer management preferred
- Experience in using or willing to learn church management software (Planning Center)
