Job Summary
PT Stock Associate at Williams-Sonoma, Inc. handling shipments and maintaining inventory records; organizing and stocking stockroom and off-site locations; assisting the sales team with replenishment of the sales floor after shipments or during recovery periods; provide high-level customer service; scan shipments, log and ticket merchandise, and prepare for distribution; organize stockroom by department/category; communicate inventory levels and damages to supervisors; ensure merchandise is ticketed, packaged, logged, stored safely, and easily locatable; assist with customer deliveries and help on the sales floor during peak times; adhere to store policies and minimize loss; physical requirements include lifting up to 75 pounds and mobility on the sales floor; full and part-time availability with weekend flexibility. This role emphasizes organized stock management, customer service, and adherence to safety and store procedures.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- 1-2 years customer service experience preferred
- stockroom (or related) experience preferred
- basic product knowledge preferred but not required
- ability to lift and carry medium-to-large items up to 75 pounds with safety techniques
- ability to operate POS system
