Job Summary
Specialty Merchandise Associate in Food Lion's Center Store (Grocery) department providing quality customer service, maintaining shelf conditions and plan-o-grams, managing back stock and inventory, using ACIS and CAO systems, completing CBT and training courses, and adhering to food safety and workplace safety guidelines. Duties include fast, friendly, accurate customer service; supporting item placement and backroom organization; ensuring compliance with policies and regulations; wearing the Food Lion uniform and name badge; and performing other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Must meet minimum age requirements to perform specific job functions
- Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the position, with or without reasonable accommodations
- Ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication and customer service skills
