Job Summary
Second Service Manager role overseeing grocery-floor operations, customer service, staff training, recruitment, and merchandising in a Hy-Vee environment. Core duties include supervising employees, ensuring friendly customer interactions, guiding pricing and display strategies, managing cash handling and backroom operations, training staff on store policies, ensuring cleanliness and safety, and coordinating with management on staffing, scheduling, and performance. Requires strong interpersonal skills, problem solving, arithmetic ability, and the ability to lead teams in a fast-paced retail setting. Night and weekend shifts are required. Employment is contingent on a pre-employment drug screen.
Required Qualifications
- Education and Experience: High school or 1 year of similar or related work experience.
