PT Senior Nature Staff-1

Senior Nature Staff assists in developing, coordinating, and supervising nature-related programs and maintaining the Cool Creek Nature Center. Duties include opening/closing the Nature Center and greenhouse, greeting visitors, leading nature hikes and programs, conducting animal talks, assembling exhibits, supervising volunteers, performing janitorial duties, and communicating effectively with the public and partners. Requires working weekends/after hours, valid Indiana driver license, and ability to deliver educational programs, speak to groups, and manage multiple tasks in an outdoor park setting. Training includes safety and departmental policies; vaccination for Hepatitis B is recommended with provision for vaccination scheduling. This role emphasizes environmental education, program development, community engagement, and hands-on operations within a county park system.
