Job Summary
Assist upper management to drive results through a strategic approach while overseeing key opening and closing duties and operational tasks. Foster customer relationships by coaching styling techniques and ensuring the highest level of customer service standards across the team. Empower staff to maintain multi-tasking capabilities and lead during high retail traffic and sales days, including weekends, holidays, and peak periods like the day after Thanksgiving. Stand and walk for extended periods while operating point-of-sale equipment and handling merchandise in a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of relevant retail experience
- Proficiency in reading, writing and speaking in English
- Authorization to work for any employer in the United States
- Ability to meet store scheduling and availability expectations, including the ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and high retail traffic and sales days, including but not limited to the day after Thanksgiving, Memorial Day, Christmas Eve, Mother's Day, etc.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods (up to 8 hours per shift)
- Ability to lift and carry up to 30 pounds
- Ability to reach overhead, bend, kneel, and stoop
- Ability to handle merchandise and operate point-of-sale equipment
- Ability to visually assess merchandise and customer needs
- Ability to communicate clearly with customers and team members in both written and verbal formats
- Ability to work in busy environments, including but not limited to working under bright lights, with music, and during peak traffic hours
