Job Summary
PT Lovesac Sales Associate to create an engaging in-store experience and help customers design products to fit their space and style. Responsibilities include engaging customers with Lovesac selling techniques, achieving personal sales goals, providing attentive service, building customer loyalty, demonstrating product knowledge, guiding customers from interest to purchase (managing quotes, closing sales, maintaining relationships), conducting customer outreach with company tools, resolving issues to ensure a positive shopping experience, maintaining a welcoming store with visual merchandising standards, and supporting store operations (opening/closing, inventory, exchanges, promotions) while adhering to company policies and safety. The role supports omni-channel experiences with in-person and remote customer service shifts; flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays, and occasional travel to local stores or vendors. Applicants should be able to move furniture up to 75 pounds and participate in a dynamic, customer-centric environment.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years of age or older
- High-School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a retail or customer service role
- Able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays
- Able to effectively utilize technology for sales and customer support including demonstrating products, assisting customers and utilizing internal CRM systems
- Support Lovesac's omni- channel customer experience by being flexible and able to assist in-person at your home store, local stores and third-party vendors, as well as remote customer service shifts
- Must be able to travel, as required by the Company in its sole discretion, to local stores, third-party vendors and for occasional meetings using various forms of transportation
- Demonstrate excellent judgment, integrity, and trustworthiness in managing financial transactions, handling sensitive business and customer data, customer privacy and ensuring the comfort and safety of persons and property
- Must be able to move objects (including medium to large furniture items up to 75 pounds) from a lower to a higher position or horizontally from position-to-position or be able to assemble furniture while working on the selling floor
- This position routinely requires the following actions; bending, twisting, kneeling, reaching, standing, stooping, walking, crawling, climbing
