Job Summary
Actively engage customers using Lovesac selling techniques to guide them from initial interest to purchase, managing quotes and closing sales while meeting individual goals and key performance indicators. Demonstrate strong product knowledge by effectively demoing, assisting, and educating shoppers, then quickly resolve issues to ensure a positive experience and build loyalty. Oversee store operations including opening and closing, inventory, exchanges, and visual merchandising standards while utilizing sales data to prioritize tasks. Conduct customer outreach via company tools and travel to local stores or vendors as required. Maintain a welcoming environment by following safety policies and handling financial transactions with integrity. Support the omni-channel experience by assisting in-person at home stores, local locations, and third-party vendors, including remote shifts.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years of age or older
- High-School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a retail or customer service role
- Able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays
- Able to effectively utilize technology for sales and customer support including demonstrating products, assisting customers and utilizing internal CRM systems to enhance customer experience and drive future outreach
- Support Lovesac's omni-channel customer experience by being flexible and able to assist in-person at your home store, local stores and third-party vendors, as well as remote customer service shifts
- Must be able to travel, as required by the Company in its sole discretion, to local stores, third-party vendors and for occasional meetings using various forms of transportation
- Demonstrate excellent judgment, integrity, and trustworthiness in managing financial transactions, handling sensitive business and customer data, customer privacy and ensuring the comfort and safety of persons and property
- Effective communication skills and ability to manage conflict in a reasonable, nonconfrontational manner
- Must be able to move objects (including medium to large furniture items up to 75 pounds) from a lower to a higher position or horizontally from position-to-position or be able to assemble furniture while working on the selling floor
