Job Summary
Lovesac Sales Associate (Part-Time) responsible for creating a welcoming in-store experience and helping customers design modular, sustainable furniture (Sacs/Sactionals). You will actively engage customers using Lovesac selling techniques, aim to meet or exceed personal sales goals and KPIs, provide attentive service, demonstrate product knowledge, guide customers from initial interest to purchase (managing quotes, closing sales, maintaining relationships), conduct outreach using company tools, resolve issues for a positive shopping experience, and maintain an inviting store with visual merchandising standards. You will also support store operations (opening/closing, inventory, exchanges, promotions) and utilize sales data to prioritize tasks while adhering to policies and contributing to a safe, customer-centric environment. Must be able to travel as needed and lift up to 75 pounds; flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Prior retail or customer service experience and a high school diploma are required.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years of age or older
- High-School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a retail or customer service role
- Able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays
- Able to effectively utilize technology for sales and customer support including demonstrating products, assisting customers and utilizing internal CRM systems
- Support Lovesac's omni- channel customer experience by being flexible and able to assist in-person at your home store, local stores and third-party vendors, as well as remote customer service shifts
- Must be able to travel, as required by the Company in its sole discretion, to local stores, third-party vendors and for occasional meetings using various forms of transportation
- Demonstrate excellent judgment, integrity, and trustworthiness in managing financial transactions, handling sensitive business and customer data, customer privacy and ensuring the comfort and safety of persons and property
- Must be able to move objects (including medium to large furniture items up to 75 pounds) from a lower to a higher position or horizontally from position-to-position or be able to assemble furniture while working on the selling floor
- This position routinely requires bending, twisting, kneeling, reaching, standing, stooping, walking, crawling, climbing
