Job Summary
Engage customers using Lovesac selling techniques to guide them from initial interest through purchase, managing quotes and closing sales while meeting individual performance goals. Demonstrate deep product knowledge to assist with demos, educate shoppers on adaptable furniture solutions, and quickly resolve issues to ensure positive experiences. Oversee store operations including opening and closing, inventory management, exchanges, and visual merchandising standards. Conduct customer outreach via company tools and CRM systems to build loyalty and drive future sales. Maintain a welcoming, safe environment by following all policies and procedures while handling financial transactions and sensitive data with integrity.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years of age or older
- High-School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a retail or customer service role
- Able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays
- Able to effectively utilize technology for sales and customer support including demonstrating products, assisting customers and utilizing internal CRM systems to enhance customer experience and drive future outreach
- Support Lovesac's omni-channel customer experience by being flexible and able to assist in-person at your home store, local stores and third-party vendors, as well as remote customer service shifts
- Must be able to travel, as required by the Company in its sole discretion, to local stores, third-party vendors and for occasional meetings using various forms of transportation
- Demonstrate excellent judgment, integrity, and trustworthiness in managing financial transactions, handling sensitive business and customer data, customer privacy and ensuring the comfort and safety of persons and property
- Effective communication skills and ability to manage conflict in a reasonable, nonconfrontational manner
- Must be able to move objects (including medium to large furniture items up to 75 pounds) from a lower to a higher position or horizontally from position-to-position or be able to assemble furniture while working on the selling floor
