Job Summary
Lovesac is seeking a Part-Time Sales Associate to create a welcoming in-store experience and help customers design furniture solutions that fit their space. The role focuses on engaging customers using Lovesac selling techniques, achieving personal sales goals and KPIs, providing attentive service, developing product knowledge, guiding customers from first interest to purchase, and maintaining customer relationships. Responsibilities include conducting customer outreach, resolving issues, maintaining visually appealing stores, overseeing store operations (opening/closing, inventory, promotions), using company tools and data to prioritize tasks, following policies to minimize risk and ensure safety, and performing other duties as assigned. Requirements include retail experience, flexible hours, strong communication, and the ability to move furniture and assist in demonstrations. The role supports in-store and remote customer-service shifts and may require travel to local stores or vendors as needed.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years of age or older.
- High-School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a retail or customer service role.
- Able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays.
- Able to effectively utilize technology for sales and customer support including demonstrating products, assisting customers and utilizing internal CRM systems to enhance customer experience and drive future outreach.
- Support Lovesac's omni- channel customer experience by being flexible and able to assist in-person at your home store, local stores and third-party vendors, as well as remote customer service shifts.
- Must be able to travel, as required by the Company in its sole discretion, to local stores, third-party vendors and for occasional meetings using various forms of transportation.
- Demonstrate excellent judgment, integrity, and trustworthiness in managing financial transactions, handling sensitive business and customer data, customer privacy and ensuring the comfort and safety of persons and property.
