Job Summary
Conduct in-store sales by engaging customers, demonstrating products, and guiding them from interest to purchase while managing quotes and closing deals. Achieve personal sales goals and key performance indicators through active selling techniques and customer outreach using company tools. Oversee store operations including opening and closing, inventory management, exchanges, and maintaining visual merchandising standards. Quickly resolve customer issues and ensure a positive shopping experience while adhering to safety policies and handling financial transactions. Support Lovesac's omni-channel experience by assisting in-person at local stores, third-party vendors, and during remote customer service shifts.
Required Qualifications
- 18 years of age or older
- High-School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a retail or customer service role
- Able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays
- Able to effectively utilize technology for sales and customer support including demonstrating products, assisting customers and utilizing internal CRM systems to enhance customer experience and drive future outreach
- Support Lovesac's omni-channel customer experience by being flexible and able to assist in-person at your home store, local stores and third-party vendors, as well as remote customer service shifts
- Must be able to travel, as required by the Company in its sole discretion, to local stores, third-party vendors and for occasional meetings using various forms of transportation
- Demonstrate excellent judgment, integrity, and trustworthiness in managing financial transactions, handling sensitive business and customer data, customer privacy and ensuring the comfort and safety of persons and property
- Effective communication skills and ability to manage conflict in a reasonable, nonconfrontational manner
- Must be able to move objects (including medium to large furniture items up to 75 pounds) from a lower to a higher position or horizontally from position-to-position or be able to assemble furniture while working on the selling floor
