Job Summary
Part-time Program Staff I in Parks and Recreation supports sporting events by assisting with equipment, materials, and supplies; communicates with participants, staff, parents, and the public; applies knowledge of softball rules; prioritizes and plans work to meet deadlines; and performs general maintenance and support duties. The role is entry level, requires basic reading/writing ability, and involves outdoor work under varying conditions. Primary duties include assisting with event-related materials daily, relaying softball regulations to the public, and performing related tasks under immediate supervision.
Required Qualifications
- General educational background without high school completion
- 0 to 6 months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
