Job Summary
PT Broadcast Producer for The Ryan Gorman Show responsible for planning and producing live and pre-recorded radio programming, supporting news, music, talk, sports, traffic, and feature content while coordinating show elements and ensuring smooth, on-air execution in a fast-paced environment. Duties include generating ideas, researching information, contacting/scheduling guests, directing presenters and crew, managing budgets, obtaining permissions/licenses for recording/broadcasting on location and for music/sound effects, monitoring listener feedback, collaborating with on-air talent, and performing post-production editing and archiving as directed. Strong writing, research, storytelling, and editorial judgment are required, with the ability to organize and curate audio elements and guest interviews to deliver a high-quality on-air product.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in planning and producing live and pre-recorded radio programming
- Ability to research information and book/manage guest interviews
- Strong writing and research skills
- Ability to direct presenters, crew, and coordinate show elements
- Experience with editing/production software and archiving show files
- Budget management and resource optimization
- Knowledge of licensing for recording/broadcasting and use of music/sound effects
- Strong editorial judgment and ability to deliver engaging content across platforms
