Job Summary
Train and supervise Package Handlers and Clerks on safety, productivity, and job-related tasks. Facilitate training for new and current employees, conduct group meetings, and coordinate evaluations with management. Develop and maintain working relationships with employees, management, and customers while determining best solutions for package concerns. Supervise daily activities of package handlers and clerks to ensure all assigned duties are accomplished safely and timely. Understand and consistently demonstrate UPS's high ethical standards and code of conduct. Hold teams accountable for attendance and submit timecards.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to lift 70 lbs./32 kgs.
- Availability to work flexible shift hours, up to 5 days per week
- Strong problem solving skills, with ability to multitask
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or National of the U.S., an alien lawfully admitted for permanent residence, or an alien authorized to work in the U.S. for this employer.
