Job Summary
Trains and supervises package handlers and clerks on safety, productivity, and various job-related tasks. Responsible for ensuring attendance, submitting timecards, and maintaining relationships with employees, management, and customers. Facilitates training with new and current employees; conducts and participates in group meetings; coordinates evaluations with management; determines best solutions for package concerns; supervises daily activities to ensure duties are completed safely and on time. Emphasizes UPS's ethical standards and code of conduct. Requires ability to lift 70 lbs and to work a flexible shift schedule (up to 5 days/week) in a fast-paced warehouse environment; proficiency in Microsoft Office; strong communication and problem-solving skills. Preferred Bachelor's Degree or international equivalent and management experience.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to lift 70 lbs/32 kgs.
- Availability to work flexible shift hours, up to 5 days per week.
- Strong problem solving skills, with ability to multitask.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Bachelor's Degree or International equivalent - Preferred (management experience - Preferred).
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or National of the U.S. (or an alien lawfully authorized to work in the U.S.).
