Job Summary
Train and supervise Package Handlers and Clerks on safety, productivity, and job-related tasks. Develop working relationships with employees, management, and customers while facilitating training for new and current staff. Conduct group meetings, coordinate evaluations, and determine solutions for package concerns. Supervise daily activities to ensure assigned duties are accomplished safely and timely. Hold teams accountable for attendance and submit timecards. Demonstrate UPS's high ethical standards and code of conduct in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Requires Bachelor's degree preferred and management experience.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to lift 70 lbs./32 kgs.
- Availability to work flexible shift hours, up to 5 days per week
- Strong problem solving skills, with ability to multitask
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or National of the U.S., an alien lawfully admitted for permanent residence, or an alien authorized to work in the U.S. for this employer.
