Job Summary
Train and supervise Package Handlers and Clerks on safety, productivity, and job-related tasks while holding teams accountable for attendance and submitting timecards. Develop and maintain working relationships with employees, management, and customers. Facilitate training for new and current staff, conduct group meetings, and coordinate evaluations with management. Determine best solutions for package concerns and supervise daily activities to ensure assigned duties are accomplished safely and timely. Understand and consistently demonstrate UPS's high ethical standards and code of conduct. Requires ability to lift 70 lbs., flexible shift hours up to five days per week, and a Bachelor's degree.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to lift 70 lbs./32 kgs.
- Availability to work flexible shift hours, up to 5 days per week
- Strong problem solving skills, with ability to multitask
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or National of the U.S., an alien lawfully admitted for permanent residence, or an alien authorized to work in the U.S. for this employer.
