Job Summary
PT Physician Assistant with 2+ years in Family Practice/Primary Care sought to deliver broad-scope primary care in a workplace health program. Role emphasizes thorough patient-focused care with ample appointment time (no RVUs), health management for employees, and support for improved outcomes. Requirements include PA-C license, state-appropriate prescribing authority, and proficiency with EMR systems; familiarity with OSHA/workplace health concepts is preferred. Required Qualifications
- Master's degree (MS, PA-C)
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a Family Practice/Primary Care environment
- Certification as a Physician Assistant (preferred)
- Licensed as a Physician Assistant in the state of practice
- Appropriate certification to write prescriptions under the authority of the Medical Leader, if allowed within state of practice
- Strong computer skills with knowledge of Internet software, Spreadsheet software, and Word Processing software
- Experience with Electronic Medical Records
- Knowledge of workplace health and safety concepts and OSHA regulations preferred
- Proactive attitude and problem-solving/flow management skills
- Demonstrated ability to provide thorough primary care in a workplace health setting
