Job Summary
Perform physical therapy evaluations and treatments based on physician orders, including adaptive equipment procurement. Establish measurable goals and develop treatment plans to maximize patient independence and function. Maintain communication with the treatment team, physicians, patients, and family members. Document services thoroughly and timely to ensure proper billing. Supervise Physical Therapist Assistants and Aides in direct patient care and activities. Work full-time Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm in Ashland, AL, serving Clay, Cleburne, Randolph, and Tallapoosa counties.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of Bachelors Degree in Physical Therapy from a college or university with accredited Physical Therapy program
- At least (2) years of appropriate experience as a physical therapist
- Valid license form the state of practice
- Possess and maintains current CPR certification
