Job Summary
Fill prescriptions under pharmacist supervision while adhering to government regulations and Saskatoon Co-op policies for drug control, safekeeping, and stock disposal. Manage inventory movement, including receiving, selling, ordering pharmaceutical and over-the-counter products, and placing claims against suppliers. Assist with customer complaints, adjust claims, compile statistics, process invoices, and maintain cash safekeeping. Provide prompt, courteous service to promote member relations and merchandise sales, while ensuring department appearance and merchandising standards. Maintain alertness against unauthorized merchandise removal and perform other assigned duties. Evening and weekend availability required.
Required Qualifications
- Must either be a pharmacy intern registered with the provincial college, or possess a current Pharmacy Assistant Certificate, or possess equivalent knowledge and experience.
- Must be strongly service-oriented and motivated, and be capable of serving, and assisting customers in a courteous and efficient manner.
- Candidates must be available on evenings and weekends.
Desired Qualifications
- Preference will be given to applicants with previous experience.
