Job Summary
Process member financial transactions through various channels, including wire transfers, check orders, and card creation, while maintaining accurate cash drawer and vault balances. Provide general information on Credit Union services, promote cross-selling opportunities, and resolve member concerns on the first contact. Assist with branch cash ordering, supply management, and business account processing to support branch performance goals. Maintain confidentiality and adhere to core values of honesty, integrity, and respect throughout all member interactions. Schedule includes Monday through Friday from 11 AM to 3 PM with rotating Saturdays. Starting wage is $19 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- One year of customer service or relevant experience
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling transactions
- Proficient math skills and ability to process account transactions accurately
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as a team member
- Ability to perform tasks requiring manual dexterity, such as processing paperwork, typing, filing, and handling cash
- Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods as required by job duties
- Ability to occasionally lift and move items weighing up to 20–40 pounds
- Ability to reach and operate keyboards and other standard office equipment
- Ability to operate basic office machines and technology, including computers, calculators, telephones, and multifunction printers
- Must be eligible for membership at ICCU to obtain employment
