Job Summary
Conduct member-facing service for financial transactions, including processing teller cash drawers, wire transfers, and merchant transactions. Provide general information on Credit Union services, cross-sell products, and assist with financial wellness education. Resolve member concerns on first contact while maintaining confidentiality and adhering to service standards. Balance various cash drawers, manage ATM and coin machines, and create debit cards. Maintain professional appearance, punctuality, and attendance for Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday shifts.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- One year of customer service or relevant experience
- Knowledge of financial institution regulations
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling transactions
- Proficient math skills and ability to process account transactions accurately
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as a team member
- Ability to perform tasks requiring manual dexterity, such as processing paperwork, typing, filing, and handling cash
- Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods
- Ability to lift and move items weighing up to 20–40 pounds
- Ability to reach and operate keyboards and other standard office equipment
- Ability to operate basic office machines and technology, including computers, calculators, telephones, and multifunction printers
- Must be eligible for membership at ICCU to obtain employment
