Job Summary
Administer or assist with medication administration and supervise the medication cart and narcotic keys. Provide physical and psychosocial care including activities of daily living, mobility assistance, and room checks. Plan the wellness staffing schedule, conduct shift reports, and respond to emergencies. Maintain infection control standards and document all services on company forms. Work the 2nd shift from 2:00pm to 10:00pm as a part-time Medication Technician.
Required Qualifications
- At least 2 years Med Tech experience
- Must maintain certification in the state where you work
- Satisfactory completion of state-required education/certificates/testing in relation to medication aides
- Ability to read, write, and speak in English
- Be in good physical health and free of communicable diseases
- Must be able to lift 40 pounds
- Completion of drug testing and criminal background check upon hire
- Must be available by phone 24/7 while on-call for staffing needs
- Must be available for weekend shifts
- Must be available for 2nd Shift 2:00pm - 10:00pm
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in Assisted Living preferred
