Job Summary
PT Maintenance Technician at CRM Residential in Newark, NJ, performs routine maintenance tasks (changing light bulbs, unclogging drains, fixing leaky faucets), minor repairs (drywall patching, painting, carpentry), grounds maintenance (lawn care, snow removal, cleaning of common areas), and responds to tenant maintenance requests. Conducts regular inspections to identify issues before they become problems and assists with major repairs or renovations as needed. Requires High School diploma or equivalent and 2 years of maintenance experience, with proficiency in plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, and other trades; valid driver’s license; on-call 24/7; 20 hours per week schedule. Prior experience in commercial or multi-unit residential property is desirable. Maintains current license/certificate in at least one building trade (electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, fire protection or mechanical). Required Qualifications
