Job Summary
Conduct daily maintenance, repair, and upkeep of the facility, including general projects, routine equipment inspections, and minor plumbing, electrical, painting, and carpentry tasks. Respond promptly to resident and staff requests while assisting with preventative maintenance programs and seasonal projects like snow removal. Maintain facility safety standards, report hazards to leadership, and participate in emergency preparedness procedures. Move furniture, equipment, and supplies as required to keep the environment clean and welcoming for residents, visitors, and team members.
Desired Qualifications
- Previous maintenance, handyman, facilities, or building maintenance experience
- Painting experience
- Experience in drywall repair, drywall patching, texture matching, and interior painting
- Ability to prepare, repair, patch, texture, and paint walls, ceilings, and other interior surfaces while maintaining a professional appearance throughout the facility
- Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general building repairs
- Ability to safely operate maintenance tools and equipment
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
