Job Summary
Direct assigned provider patient schedules, manage medication and script lines, and redirect clinical assessments to RNs, PAs, or providers. Prepare rooms and equipment for office procedures, greet patients, and escort them to scheduled appointments. Update patient EMR charts with vital signs, medications, and medical updates, and explain procedures within scope of practice. Complete all required training, including annual OSHA and PPD placements, and report adverse medication events. Requires current LPN license, CPR certification, and 1-10 years of preferred experience. Local travel may be needed.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited LPN Program
- Current state License
- Current CPR certification
- At least one (1) year of medical/surgical experience
- Travel to other Clinics as needed
- Reasoning Ability
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
- Thorough knowledge in computer information systems
- Maintains working knowledge of OSHA compliance standards
- Ability to frequently stand
- Ability to frequently walk
- Ability to frequently sit
- Ability to use hands to finger, handle, or feel
- Ability to reach with hands and arms
- Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
- Ability to talk or hear
- Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds
- Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
