Job Summary
Deliver high-quality instruction in Associate Degree Nursing clinical courses, including developing progressive curricula, designing hybrid or face-to-face delivery strategies, and assessing student learning. Advise students on academic matters, grades, and career concerns while assisting with internship and work study assignments. Participate in departmental service activities, staff development training, and in-service meetings to maintain faculty competencies aligned with the Faculty Quality Assurance System. Comply with college policies regarding student testing, record keeping, and timely grade evaluation.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in Nursing
- Two (2) years or 4,000 hours of related work experience as a registered nurse
- License to practice as a registered nurse in the state of WI (or able to obtain Wisconsin license if currently licensed elsewhere)
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing with a Master's Degree in Nursing in progress AND ability to obtain a standard exception annually
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing with a non-Nursing Master's Degree exception to teach in the Associate Degree Nursing program from the WI State Board of Nursing

- Skill in the use of educational technology and alternative delivery methods
- Knowledge and ability to infuse multicultural perspectives into course content and delivery
- Skill in communications and human relations with populations having diverse socio-economic and racial backgrounds, as well as individuals with disabilities
- Ability to interact with healthcare settings to establish partnerships
- Demonstrate a commitment to the college's mission, vision and values
