Job Summary
PT Hub Dispatch Supervisor at UPS leading and coordinating dispatch activities for small package operations. Responsible for dispatch planning, ensuring timely service, monitoring load planning and trailer inventory, yard operations coordination, driver hours compliance, and safety and cost-goal attainment. Oversees load and tractor planning, tracks equipment condition, analyzes dispatch and service reports, and develops efficient dispatch plans incorporating new customers, locations, and loads. Conducts performance evaluations, identifies training needs, provides feedback and support, and ensures regulatory compliance. Requires ability to lift up to 70 lbs, flexible shift availability, strong communication, MS Office skills, and management experience preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or International equivalent - Preferred
- Ability to lift 70 lbs./32 kgs.
- Availability to work flexible shift hours, up to 5 days per week
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment
- Management experience - Preferred
- Must be a U.S. Citizen or National of the U.S., an alien lawfully admitted for permanent residence, or an alien authorized to work in the U.S. for this employer.
