Job Summary
Acknowledge guests in a friendly and timely manner while taking orders, making confident menu recommendations, and presenting food. Acquire and validate payment methods for all extra food and beverage service. Assist in clearing tables, transporting dirty dishes and linen to a bus cart, and cleaning work stations and wait stands at the end of each shift. Provide prompt, efficient service to enhance the gaming and dining experience for Live Casino guests, including executing and delivering In-Room Dining orders when applicable.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to use fountain soft drink, tea and coffee machines
- Ability to read and write basic instructions
- Knowledge of Alcohol Beverage Control laws, health regulations, and PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to organize and be creative
- Knowledge of sanitation and health department regulations for safe handling of food
- Must be able to comply with all state gaming regulations, which may include obtaining a license
- Ability to stand and walk continually throughout a scheduled shift
- Ability to bend, stoop and reach while carrying dishes, glasses and serving tray
- Ability to push bus cart and carry trash/linen bags weighing up to 35 pounds
Desired Qualifications
- A high school diploma or GED equivalent
- A high level of customer service training
- One (1) to three (3) years of experience in casual, buffet and or fine dining restaurant
