Job Summary
To provide courteous customer service, stock grocery merchandise per Saskatoon Co-op policy, perform housekeeping, assist with receiving duties, operate and maintain equipment safely, open/close procedures, participate in loss prevention, operate cash register as required, and handle shifts including mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends. Emphasis on friendly service, product knowledge, and adherence to policies and procedures.
Required Qualifications
- Must possess sufficient knowledge of grocery merchandise handled to effectively operate the section(s) assigned
- Must be familiar with all lines of merchandise handled by the department
- Must be strongly service-oriented and motivated, and be capable of assisting customers in a courteous and efficient manner
- Physical ability to handle the work to be assigned
- Must be able to work mornings, afternoons, evenings and weekends
