Job Summary
Provide quality customer service in the Deli Bakery Department, ensuring fast, friendly, and accurate service; follow standard practices for processing products, labeling, ordering/receiving, and proper sanitation; maintain food safety and workplace safety compliance; use tools like ACIS and CAO for inventory and ordering; adhere to policies and guidelines; wear Food Lion uniform; complete CBT and training materials; perform additional duties as assigned; maintain a neat appearance and assist customers to maximize sales while minimizing shrink.
Required Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent preferred
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication and customer service skills
- Ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job
- Ability to use technical information to solve problems
- Must meet minimum age requirements to perform specific job functions
- Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the position, with or without reasonable accommodations
- Physical requirements include: ability to use computers, stand 100% of the time, lift up to 50 lbs occasionally, repetitive motions, and tolerate extreme temperatures as described
