Job Summary
Answer phones, greet members, sign up new members, and log amenities while responding to questions and concerns. Process beverage or merchandise purchases through the point of sale system and promote fitness instruction classes. Maintain a clean, sanitized, and safe club environment. This part-time role offers starting pay of $13 per hour with scheduled increases at 180 days, one year, and every six months, plus shift-differential pay. Weekend mornings and weekday afternoons are available. National Fitness Partners, the largest Planet Fitness franchise, serves over one million members across 200+ clubs nationwide.
Required Qualifications
- Customer service experience
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Basic computer proficiency
- Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs
- Frequent lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling
- Will encounter cleaning chemicals during shift
- Frequent climbing, balancing, kneeling and crouching during shift
- Continual reaching with hands/fingers/arms during shift
Desired Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED equivalent preferred
