Job Summary
PT Customer Service Leader at Food Lion provides fast, easy, friendly service to customers, greets customers by name when possible, performs front-end cashier duties, cash handling, and service-center tasks, maintains store front-end standards, assists Customer Service Manager, completes CBT training, and upholds safety and dress code requirements while delivering excellent customer service. Responsibilities include smiling and engaging customers, unloading groceries for bagging, scanning and processing payments, following bagging procedures, assisting customers to their cars, maintaining accurate cash control, notifying managers of issues, and performing other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent preferred
- Effective communication and customer service skills
- Ability to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of cashier and service center
- Ability to perform the technical requirements of cashier and service center
- Must meet minimum age requirements for specific job functions
- Ability to meet physical requirements including lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for long periods
