Job Summary

PT Customer Lead at Food Lion provides fast, easy, flexible and friendly service to customers while supporting Customer Service management and front-end standards. Responsibilities include greeting customers by name when possible, maintaining neat front-end and office presentations, handling cash-related tasks (register checks, deposits, Western Union, money orders, Coinstar), learning and applying store procedures, assisting with surge coverage, performing cashier and service-center duties as needed, ensuring MVP savings center KIOSK functionality, complying with safety and dress code policies, completing CBT and training, and executing other duties as assigned to maintain service standards.

Required Qualifications

  • High school graduate or equivalent preferred
  • Effective communication and customer service skills
  • Ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job
  • Ability to perform the technical requirements of cashier and service center
  • Must meet minimum age requirements to perform specific job functions
  • Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the position, with or without reasonable accommodations
