Job Summary
Conduct daily cleaning and organization of the facility, including offices, meeting rooms, fitness spaces, and equipment. Maintain cleanliness and disinfect bathrooms, locker rooms, and showers while restocking toilet paper, paper towels, and soap. Manage inventory for all cleaning supplies and perform routine maintenance on carpets, floors, and building surfaces. Assist with annual deep cleaning, minor repairs, and safety hazard inspections. Perform preventative maintenance on custodial and fitness equipment. Work evening shifts from 9pm to 12am on-site at the Sonnentag Center.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Current American Red Cross CPR/AED/FA certification
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment
- Ability to read, write, and accurately follow oral and written instructions
- Ability to perform basic mathematics
- Ability to operate computers for scheduling, email, and data entry/retrieval
- Ability to manage time effectively and set priorities
- Must be able to lift, bend, stoop, climb, reach, and lift up to 50 pounds at a time
- Evening availability required
- Shifts begin after regular business hours
- Night time position availability from 9pm - 12am
- Prolonged periods of standing
- Must be able to lift, bend, stoop, climb, reach and lift up to 50 pounds at a time
Desired Qualifications
- At least one year of janitorial or custodial experience
