Job Summary
Monitor resident care plans and conduct daily rounds to promote independence and maintain safe living conditions. Administer medications accurately and timely, including preparation and charting, while assisting with personal care tasks like bathing and dressing. Perform direct care assistance as needed, manage meal service duties including table setup and delivery, and maintain accurate documentation of progress notes and condition changes. Provide shift reports to the Charge Nurse, Nursing Coordinator, and Assisted Living Director, and act as Team Leader to supervise Assisted Living personnel when assigned. Ensure 100% accuracy in all tasks and adhere to hospitality standards by greeting residents warmly and anticipating their needs.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Current Oklahoma certification as Certified Nurse Aide (CNA)
- Current Oklahoma certification as Certified Medication Aide (CMA)
- Ability to maintain 100% confidentiality with all work, conversations, documents, etc.
- Ability to recognize and respond to emergency situations
- Ability to independently push a wheelchair with a resident weighing up to 200 pounds
- Ability to independently lift, balance, and carry up to 30 pounds
- Ability to stand/walk for up to 100% of the work day
- Ability to access and navigate full campus
