Job Summary
Conduct checkout operations, engage in customer service, and supervise packing of purchases at the counter. Maintain a neat, clean, well merchandised front-end and achieve a checkout speed of 14 items per minute. Ensure accurate cash balances while assisting with general stock duties, including filling shelves and bins in the checkout area. Adhere to all Saskatoon Co-op Policies and Procedures and remain dependable for all scheduled shifts. Work mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends.
Required Qualifications
- adequate knowledge of all lines of merchandise handled by the Food Department
- strongly service oriented and motivated
- capable of assisting customers in a courteous and efficient manner
- ability to work mornings, afternoons, evenings and weekends
