Pharmacy Technician - Certified provides prompt, efficient customer service, assists pharmacists in the preparation and distribution of prescription medications, and maintains patient information and documentation. Duties include taking prescriptions, processing insurance, preparing labels, assisting with vaccines and immunizations as allowed by law, stocking supplies, and ensuring compliance with HIPAA and pharmacy policies. Requires high school diploma or equivalent and certification as a licensed pharmacy technician with ongoing continuing education; prior experience as a pharmacy technician or clerk preferred. Must be able to perform duties in a fast retail environment and handle multiple tasks, including customer interactions, prescription processing, and insurance coordination.
