Job Summary
Center Store (Grocery) Associate provides quality customer service in the Center Store department, stocking and shelf maintenance, following standard practices, using ACIS and CAO for inventory and ordering, upholding food safety and workplace safety guidelines, wearing the Food Lion uniform, and completing CBT and training. The role emphasizes fast, friendly, and accurate customer service, shelving saleable merchandise, adhering to policies, reporting accidents, and performing other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent preferred
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication and customer service skills
- Ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job
- Ability to use technical information to solve problems
- Must meet minimum age requirements to perform specific job functions
- Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the position, with or without reasonable accommodations
- Physical Requirements: ability to use computers and other communication systems; perform repetitive hand and arm motions; lift up to 50 lbs occasionally; stand 100% of the time; etc.
