Job Summary
PT Center Store Associate responsible for shelf inventory management within Center Store, including responsibility for the in-stock position for customers. Collaborate with Store and Department leadership to plan for key events, holidays, and merchandising events. Duties include ordering and maintaining product levels, training and coaching associates to grow sales and reduce shrink, coordinating replenishment activities with schedule writers, maintaining shelf allocations, supporting in-stock service levels across Grocery, HBC, and DSD, assisting with proactive planning for future business needs, promoting a positive shopping experience, delivering excellent customer service, controlling store expenses through proper ordering, and using CAO and ACIS for inventory management. Requires strong interpersonal skills, ability to learn multiple tasks, and ability to meet physical requirements of the role.
Required Qualifications
- High School graduate or equivalent preferred
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication, and customer service skills
- Good understanding of store operations preferred
- Ability and willingness to learn multiple task and technical requirements of the job
- Ability to use technical information to solve problems
- Must meet minimum age requirements to perform specific job functions
- Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the position, with or without reasonable accommodations
- Ability to prioritize and work independently with minimal supervision
- Good understanding of ordering, CAO, and inventory systems
