Job Summary
Operate broadcast console and studio equipment during live and pre-recorded shows while monitoring on-air programming for quality, timing, and FCC compliance. Coordinate with talent and traffic teams to ensure smooth transitions and accurate commercial placement, then troubleshoot technical issues in real time. Record, edit, and load audio content using automation systems, and maintain logs for regulatory and internal compliance. Support remote broadcasts and live events as needed. This role requires strong technical aptitude with familiarity with NexGen and Adobe Audition, the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment, and availability for flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays. Located in Madison, WI, this part-time position offers hourly pay with flexible benefits.
Required Qualifications
