Job Summary
The Behavioral Health Technician is responsible for monitoring and reporting patient behaviors and providing continuous patient care and supervision in a safe and supportive environment. Key responsibilities include assisting with activities of daily living, conducting safety checks, communicating significant observations to nursing staff, facilitating patient groups on various topics, recording vital signs, applying de-escalation techniques, and managing patient belongings. Candidates should have a high school diploma and preferably six months of relevant experience.
Required Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Six months or more experience working with the specific population of the facility preferred
