Job Summary
Develop, train, and educate students in assigned sports while instructing players on rules, regulations, and techniques. Positively encourage participants and model good sportsmanship, maintaining appropriate conduct toward athletes, officials, and spectators. Schedule and organize effective practice sessions, working collegially with the Director of Athletics and fellow coaches. Prioritize relationship building with colleagues, students, and families to generate additional support for the program. Represent All Saints' Episcopal School Athletic program professionally and ensure the physical and spiritual well-being of athletes during activities. Work independently in accordance with established school policies and the mission and values of the Episcopal learning environment.
Required Qualifications
- A High School diploma
- Experience as a coach or participant in sport
- General knowledge of coaching techniques and procedures
- Ability to instruct and supervise student athletes
- Ability to manage confidential information
- Ability to work independently and make decisions in accordance with the Athletic Directors expectations, established school policies and procedures, and the All Saints' mission and values
- Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Bus Driver certification prior to the start of coaching duties
