Job Summary
Manage one location's After School Teen & Youth Program operations, ensuring services align with quality commitments and maintaining safe, clean facilities. Assist the Club Director with recruiting, selecting, and supervising program staff while cultivating relationships with local businesses, schools, parents, and community agencies. Promote and recruit student membership, perform administrative tasks, and serve as the lead site staff in the Director's absence. This part-time role runs Monday through Friday, with school year shifts from 2pm to 7pm (August–May) and summer shifts from 8am to 5pm (June 1–August 15). The position offers a payrate of $18.26 per hour, includes paid time off and holidays, and provides training and advancement opportunities. A background check, drug test, valid driver's license, and CPR certification are required.
Required Qualifications
- Four-year degree in related field from an accredited college or university
- 1 year work experience in a Boys & Girls Club or similar organization planning and supervising activities based on the development needs of young people
- Demonstrated ability in personnel supervision, facilities management, and the recruitment and retention of key personnel
- Ability to recruit, train, supervise & motivate staff
- Effective communication skills both oral and written
- Demonstrated ability in working with young people, parents, and community leaders
- Valid State Driver's License
- CPR certification (or obtain within 6 month of hire)
- Background check clearance
- Drug test clearance
